Thornbury Eye Centre is a local, friendly, family run independent optician practice.

Our Director, Judith Wanliss BSc (Hons) MCOptom, is our lead clinician. Graduating from Aston University in 1991, she has 35 years experience as a community optometrist.

Roger Wanliss is our Practice Manager and has forty years experience in spectacle dispensing.

Together, they have owned the practice since the year 2000, supported by Receptionist and Administrators Lauren Hunter, Jessica Caise and Thirza Limberg.

Thornbury Eye Centre welcomes new patients. We offer private and NHS funded (where applicable) sight testing, plus contact lens fitting and follow up appointments. We offer a wide range of adult and children's spectacles, contact lenses, sunglasses and sports eyewear, and most repairs can be carried out on site.
